ESI manufactures jacking systems and components for use on most LeTourneau®, Baker®, Friede-Goldman®, Hitachi®, Levingston®, Mitsui®, Bethlehem®, and Mitsubishi® drilling rigs. No other company has the technical expertise or operational experience to work on this array of rig designs. Our proprietary new build and retrofit systems have jacking capacities from 440 to 700 Kips. All have received American Bureau of Shipping (“ABS”) approval and include conventional or planetary and fixed or floating designs. We can also modify our systems to meet your specific needs.

We maintain large inventories of components available for shipment worldwide. All components receive ABS approval prior to delivery, and our service technicians are available for installation and commissioning. Whether in the shipyard or offshore during drilling operations, our personnel can provide the service and technical expertise necessary to meet your jacking system needs.

ESI has developed a continuous jacking system inspection and maintenance program which can be carried out while the rig is in operation. The programs are designed to meet the specific needs of each customer and will dramatically reduce downtime and improve maintenance procedures. Inspection reports are regularly reviewed by our engineering staff to monitor the potential impact of ABS rule modifications on older MODU’s.

We also provide a number of jacking system enhancements for existing systems. These include fleet wide overhaul and exchange programs, increased lifting capacity by adding additional jacking units, power conversions, and control system upgrades. Each enhancement is designed to meet the customer’s unique requirements.

ESI also offers exchange programs for new or rebuilt components that can significantly reduce your overall maintenance and repair costs. Our exchange components carry a full warranty for both parts and workmanship. We are able to offer the quickest, most cost effective solution for your jacking system requirements.
